Free Quit Kits Available at Community Events and HRN Office for the Great American Smokeout
rinity County, CA — November 2025 — The Great American Smokeout (GASO), led each year by the American Cancer Society, inspires people across the nation to take the first step toward a healthier, tobacco-free life. Last year, 45 Trinity County residents joined in by starting their quit journey—and this year, the Human Response Network (HRN) wants to help even more community members do the same!
Through its Tobacco Education Program (TEP), HRN is expanding local quit support by offering free quit kits, educational resources, and encouragement for anyone ready to quit smoking, vaping, or using nicotine products.
Community members are invited to stop by one of HRN’s outreach tables between November 17 and November 25 to pick up a free quit kit, get information about quitting, or just chat about how to make that first move toward better health.

Wednesday, Nov. 19: Trinity Center Store (12:00–3:00 p.m.)
