Human Response Network (HRN) is looking for a Teacher’s Aide for our Weaverville All Summer Program (WASP) and Alps View Preschool. WASP is HRN’s summer childcare program for children enrolled in TK to age 13. WASP is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Teacher’s Aide primary responsibility is to assist the Head Teacher in assuring the safety of children. Under the direction of the Head Teacher, the Teacher’s Aide may have the responsibility to implement program activities. This is a part-time position ranging from 20-40 hours per week. Applicants must be able to pass a background check with a clear criminal record. A high school diploma is required. An Associate’s degree with early childhood education units is preferred. In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $18.90 to $20.05 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
