About the job
DUTIES:
Stay current with Family Childcare Home Education Network (FCCHEN) program funding terms and conditions.
Schedule regular in-home visits with participating providers to assess children, plan activities and provide other technical assistance.
Ensure that program requirements are met, and files maintained to document these services.
Certify eligibility of participating family day care homes to assure compliance with Food Program requirements.
Ensure that all Food Program records, including provider records, comply with Food Program requirements and that Providers receive nutrition education as needed.
Complete and maintain food program documents for preschool and the Weaverville All Summer Program (WASP).
Prepare and present a minimum of 25 hours of training to Family Childcare Providers and related staff, yearly.
Make referrals to HRN staff and other agencies to meet the needs of families, children and providers involved the FCCHEN program.
Substitute teach at pre-school, WASP, or other childcare programs as needed.
Attend meetings and trainings as required to assure program quality.
Adhere to the HRN Employee Handbook.
Other duties as assigned for agency growth and development.
