About the Event
Human Response Network (HRN) was founded in 1980 by four courageous women who recognized a heartbreaking reality in Trinity County—pregnant women were experiencing abuse, and there was nowhere to turn for help. Determined to make a difference, they created a lifeline for women and families in crisis.
Now, 45 years later, HRN has grown into one of the few nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving all of Trinity County, providing vital, often life-saving services that strengthen and uplift our rural community.
Today, we offer a wide range of essential programs, including:
Support, advocacy, and safety services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
Subsidized childcare that helps families work, grow, and thrive
Emergency housing and homelessness prevention services
