Do you want to help make a difference in our community? Human Response Network (HRN) is seeking a full time Community Support Specialist to join our team.
This position provides a wide variety of client support services for the Community Services Department including housing assistance and family services such as parenting education. Please see the job description for more details.
Starting wage for the position is $15.91 to 16.39 per hour ($2,757 to $2,840 a month), depending on experience, plus benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage; paid vacation and sick time; paid holidays; and agency contributions to a retirement fund.
A high school diploma is required. An Associate Degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or sociology, is preferred. Knowledge of child development and family dynamics preferred. Must be able to work with diverse people from all socio-economic backgrounds. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and possess a valid California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
We are continuing to operate as an essential service and have numerous safety protocols in place to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients, such as wearing masks in the office and while working with clients as well as adhering to regular sanitization of office spaces and common areas.
